Facilities Management Specialist
A Facilities Management Specialist at full performance level will perform duties such as but not limited to:
- Provides authoritative technical, analytical, and management advisory support services ensuring early identification of problems and issues that will not affect the facilities and the resolution going forward.
- Analyzes and evaluates user requirements, and develops detailed specifications for design and construction of space, to include physical security, computer and telephone cabling and Design Intent Drawings (DIDs) using electronic computer aided design programs.
- Performing center-wide functions of safety, security, and facilities management, and other project assignments involving the application and the scope of activities to analyze staff actions.
- Collaborates with top management to negotiate, determine, schedule or coordinate supporting services.
