Quick Facts Location: 170 Alameda de las Pulgas, Redwood City, CA 94062 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/permanent position Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts Hours/Week: Based on full-time schedule (30+ hours/week) Employment Type: Full-time, permanent License/Certs: Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Experience: 5+ years preferred Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: Pay details are primarily benefit-focused and will be discussed upon application) Pay & Benefits Compensation: Competitive package with annual salary between $312,000 - $438,000 Additional Compensation: Medical Director stipend of $25,000 Benefits Include: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid sick leave, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance Retirement plans including 401(k) and Employee Stock Purchase Plan Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) Parental leave, continuing education, and various discounts Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses What You’ll Do Provide obstetric and gynecologic care including triage, surgery, labor, and delivery management Handle obstetric and gynecologic emergencies in a hospital setting Manage inpatient consults and collaborate with community OB-GYN providers Support hospital deliveries and manage patient care during high-volume births (~1,200 annually) Participate in developing workflow protocols and clinical standards for the new program Lead or support quality improvement initiatives as part of the team What You Need Required: Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience Strong clinical judgment and team-oriented approach Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care Preferred: Prior leadership experience or interest in program development Experience in a hospitalist or inpatient OB-GYN setting About the Assignment Join a dynamic team at a new OB-GYN hospitalist program launching at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA.
