V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Pharmacist (Shift Differential) for our premier client Greensburg, PA.

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »

• Provide services to patients, such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management. Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions. Compound medications for external or internal use.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain appropriate inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies. Identify patients drug-related problems and effectively communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
• Accept and dispense prescription medications. Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
