Job Summary:

Performs MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols, demonstrating technical proficiency with minimal supervision. Safely screens and prepares patients for imaging, ensuring magnet room safety and independently applying appropriate scanning techniques for accurate diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Execute MRI scans for adult and pediatric patients, adhering to physician-defined protocols.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and screen patients and equipment to ensure safety and accuracy in the imaging process.
  
  
• 
  Operate advanced MRI equipment, including Philips Ingenia 1.5 and Solaris Injector, maintaining optimal imaging quality.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately within the electronic medical record systems, such as EPIC and Fuji PACS.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a sterile, safe environment by following magnet safety procedures and protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with team members and float to other departments as required, ensuring continuity of patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold ARRT certification and BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess 5-7 years of MRI technologist experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in operating MRI equipment including Philips Ingenia 1.5.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work independently, including occasional shifts alone and floating to other units.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong attention to safety protocols and patient screening procedures.
