Lead Image RetoucherDenver, COThe RoleAs Lead Image Retoucher, you will work directly with the Head of Post Production to create and manage KPI-driven post production processes for large volumes of ecommerce product photography. This will include taking both a hands-on approach and performing photo retouching in our studio, as well as building highly detailed editing templates and specs for freelancers and outsourced post-production partners. The candidate must be available to work on-site in our Denver studio.There will be a high level of responsibility to perform quality control, production specific onboarding for ICs as well as overseeing ICs during production (i.e. answering questions, assigning ICs to specific jobs, etc.). Maintaining a high level of color accuracy and discernment while keeping calibration profiles on the post machines up to date is essential. It is important that this person can effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external departments to provide direction, support and maintain hard delivery deadlines.Role ObjectivesFollow style guides, internal and external client notes and information to ensure productions have been retouched to specConduct photo retouching including wrinkle removal, color changes, mannequin and wire removals, composites, framing, and clipping paths.Create complex Actions in Photoshop to disseminate to other retouchersDevelop detailed editing templates and specs to guide freelancers and 3rd party partnersRecruit, train and direct freelancers and 3rd party partnersDevelop and maintain strict quality control standardsEffectively navigate our CMS to locate production related informationSkills & Experience4+ years of experience in Post Production fieldMust be available to work on-site in our Denver studio.Must be able to utilize a Wacom TabletAdvanced experience as a creative user of Adobe Photoshop and knowledge of best practices and non-destructive editing techniquesExperience with high volume e-commerce photo editing workflowsHas detail-oriented eye for aesthetics, as well as assure quality to exact detail and delivery spec that follow all style guidesTeam player who can work independently, yet collaborate and take feedback from other team membersEagerness to learn and thrive in a fast paced studio environment(Nice to Have) Experience with Creative Force, Asana, and video editing workflowsCompensationCompetitive salary, commensurate with experienceUnlimited PTO and paid company holidaysThose interested that meet the above conditions, please send your CV together with personal details to View email address on click.appcast.io.
