Business Intelligence Consultant (Amazon QuickSight)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant with strong experience in Amazon QuickSight and stakeholder-facing analytics work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering reporting requirements, querying AWS or other databases, and delivering insightful dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Manage end-to-end BI initiatives including planning, tracking, and delivery.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Amazon QuickSight.
• Query and extract data from AWS databases and other data sources to ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide clear communication and reporting of project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate project and data risks through proactive risk management.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance in reporting solutions.
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Amazon QuickSight.
• Experience querying AWS data sources (Redshift, RDS, Athena, etc.) or other databases.
• Experience in Stakeholder Management and working with cross-functional teams.
• Solid Program/Project Management and Risk Management skills.
• Strong Reporting and Communication skills.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong data storytelling and visualization best practices.
