We are seeking a Health Information Management Specialist I to support our client's Billing Operations team. Location: Tempe, AZ – Onsite Shift: Day Shift Hourly Pay Range: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Employment Type: Temporary FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PMJob Summary: This position supports medical billing operations by obtaining, reviewing, and processing patient medical records and claim documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling confidential healthcare information.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Obtain medical records and supporting claim documentation.Review, label, scan, and organize medical records.Verify patient information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.Navigate EMR systems to retrieve patient and clinical information.Maintain HIPAA compliance when handling protected health information.Assist with scanning, filing, faxing, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.Meet established productivity and accuracy expectations.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent required.0–1+ years of medical billing, HIM, medical records, or related experience preferred.EMR/EHR experience and general medical billing knowledge preferred.Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 codes is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Equal Opportunity Employer: Eastridge Workforce Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
