Quality Supervisor

Arizola & Associates is recruiting for a Quality Supervisor for a Manufacturing company in East Houston.

Responsibilities:

Inspection:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of Receiving Inspection, In-Process Inspection and Final Inspection for all fabrication related parts, products and assemblies performed by Quality Inspectors on an ongoing basis.
• Train quality inspector personnel on their quality job descriptions when necessary to make sure optimal quality is maintained before the product moves to the next step of production.

Reports:

• Recording inspection data on the Inspection Reporting system including documentation of the Non-conforming process.
• Assist Quality Engineer in proper documentation as needed for product certification.
• Review Material Test Reports (MTR) for incoming steel tubing and other raw materials from vendors and sub-contractors as needed but not limited to:
• Verify material size, specification, grade, chemical composition and mechanical properties in accordance with the purchase order.
• Initial and date the MTR and file it as per official system.
• The ability to communicate effectively with peers and management and work with other personnel and customers as needed.
• Ability to perform work according to routine, while maintaining standards of performance.
• Proper knowledge on manage personnel, Inspection and other aspects of product quality.
• Proper discharge of duties by the supervisor will be measured, in part, by the degree of efficiency of performance, as measured through visual observation and periodic verification.
