Manufacturing engineer

job summary:
We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer in St. Louis, MO who has experience with the implementation of assembly and testing processes for a manufacturing client. This role will be responsible for both implementing and ultimately managing daily production assembly operations and product testing activities.

This is a direct-hire role with a growing company supporting the production of a new product.

responsibilities:

• Develop and implement assembly and testing procedures, quality control processes, and corrective actions.

• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assembly and testing.

• Ensure products are assembled efficiently, tested thoroughly, and delivered according to quality, safety, and production standards.

• Monitor workflow, staffing, and equipment utilization to maximize productivity and efficiency.

• Support production by troubleshooting assembly and testing issues, identifying defects, and driving improvements in yield and reliability.
