Superior Staffing Melrose Park location is looking for an experienced Tube Bender Set up/Machine Operator

The hourly rate depends on experience and qualifications, but it can be between $23.00 - $26.00 for the right candidate. This role is based at 3030 Hirsch; 1st shift but will need to be flexible with training period.

Job Title: Tube Bender Machine Operator

Job Summary:
The Tube Bender Machine Operator is responsible for operating CNC and/or manual tube-bending machines to produce high-quality bent tubing components. The operator ensures parts meet blueprint specifications, maintains equipment, and follows all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate tube-bending machines according to production requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, protractors, tape measures, and other precision tools.
Adjust machine settings to achieve proper bend angles and dimensions.
Load and unload metal tubing and raw materials.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or quality issues.
Record production data and inspection results.
Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
Work with supervisors and quality personnel to maintain production standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Skills

Experience with CNC tube-bending machines.
Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Forklift experience.
Ability to perform basic machine programming and setup.

Physical Requirements

Standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
Lifting up to 50 pounds (or as required).
Working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
