Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 or 4x12 Hours, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Participate in float assignments across applicable units as required
• Actively support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside the provision of patient care
• Complete required orientation modules, including online computer-based learning (CBLs), during the designated orientation period
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of drug testing and Relias EKG testing within 72 hours of signing

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical and/or Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA is the only accepted form; all other certifications will not meet compliance requirements)
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Must be available and committed to completing drug testing within 12–14 calendar days prior to start date, with no prior engagements during that window
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC guidelines for fit testing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Comfort with floating to other units as census and staffing needs require
