About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the financial operations in alignment with the organization's mission and regulatory requirements. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, appraising the financial position, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role involves directing financial practices in areas such as treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, and purchasing, as well as developing and implementing policies to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to accounting principles. The CFO will also be a key figure in maintaining positive relationships with various stakeholders, including the financial community, medical staff, and board members. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a BS/BA degree in a related discipline, with a CPA designation preferred, and a graduate-level degree being a plus. A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in hospital finance and accounting, including a CFO role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, be adept at strategic and change management, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. Experience with hospital financial reporting, revenue cycle management, and a proven track record in meeting financial metrics are essential. The CFO must be a champion for change, with the ability to motivate and manage a team, and be committed to the continuous quality improvement of financial operations.
