Programmer

Essential (primary) functions include but are not limited to:

• Convert customer drawings into part files for programming in software package.
• Communicate and follow up with customers and/or sales department, to gain complete understanding of product requirements.
• Program production orders on various types of machines, using software programming package.
• Modify and revise programs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
• Ensure quality and integrity of parts programmed, as well as programs themselves.
• Work with Sales Department to provide material utilization and run times of programs for quoting purposes.

Required education/work experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Solidworks and Autocad skills a plus

Necessary (required) skills:

• Detail oriented and demonstrate good organization skills
• Must possess good written and verbal communications skills
• Must have at minimum basic skills in Microsoft Suite, intermediate preferred
