PACU Registered Nurse

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 10 AM - 10 PM, with 1 weekend and one night shift required weekly.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patients post-surgery, managing their recovery, and ensuring that they are stable before discharge.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient recovery post-surgery in the PACU.
• Administer medications and provide nursing care as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain patient records and report any concerns to the charge nurse.
• Ensure compliance with ASPAN Guidelines.

Required Experience:

• ICU or PACU experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with General, Neuro, Oncology, Orthopedics, and Vascular surgeries is a plus.
