Responsibilities The Laboratory Department System Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day department operation. This position requires an individual who is highly skilled in the clinical area as it relates to laboratory results. The individual helps maintain excellent rapport among laboratory, physicians, nursing staff and other hospital departments. The individual works closely with the Laboratory Director to maintain policy, procedures and day-to-day operations of the department and laboratory. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (required) State of Florida Supervisor (SU) license Training: ASCP MT or equivalent; LIS training and/or experience.
