Project Planner

The Execution Coordinator ensures safe and efficient delivery of large modifications, major maintenance, and refurbishment programs on the North Slope. The role provides on-site coordination across multiple work groups during construction and simultaneous operations (SimOps), resolving conflicts, maintaining compliance, and enabling smooth execution from planning through closeout. This includes daily SimOps coordination across operations, maintenance, contractors, O&M, drilling, and wells to keep activities aligned and conflict-free. Execution Coordinators are expected to travel ~10% of the time. Accountabilities Field execution & simultaneous operations (SimOps) oversight: coordinate execution of large projects and SimOps, ensuring safe and efficient use of shared field resources. Anticipate and resolve spatial, temporal, or resource conflicts between groups. Ensure full compliance with HSE Management System during execution, making safety and environmental protection the top priority. Enforce adherence to site standards and regulatory requirements in daily activities. Align contractors, operations, and maintenance teams to execute work packages. Provide field feedback to planners, engineers, and supervisors to improve constructability and readiness. Identify and drive improvements to SimOps, contractor integration, and execution efficiency. Capture and share lessons learned from commissioning, punch-listing, and closeout. Tasks & Responsibilities Pre-execution readiness: support Long Range and Infrastructure Planners with constructability reviews, contracting input, and validation. Provide input on estimates, monitor budget impacts, and manage changes through planning phase. Execution coordination: act as on-site coordinator linking maintenance teams with resident and third-party contractors; oversee daily SimOps to avoid space, time, or resource conflicts. Coordinate logistics (flights, billeting) for in-field activities including East-West flights and CD3 visits for O&M activities. Coordinate response and execution of emergent work (e.g., pipeline leaks, drill site shutdowns, and other unplanned events). Coordinate all POP activities from rig handover to first oil to drive schedule performance. Monitoring & reporting: track progress of construction work, including cost performance and changes, updating monthly plans and budgets; maintain records of punch lists, commissioning activities, and closeout deliverables. Communication & escalation: act as primary point of contact between field crews, supervisors, Anchorage-based teams, and contractors during execution phase; elevate resource and schedule conflicts, safety issues, or material delays promptly for resolution.
