Healthcare Recruiters International is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a leading behavioral health organization in Naples, Florida.

The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, and treatment for individuals experiencing mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations

• Diagnose and treat mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders

• Provide psychotropic medication management

• Assess suicide risk and develop appropriate safety plans

• Respond to psychiatric crises and initiate Baker Act procedures when necessary

• Maintain an active caseload and meet clinical productivity expectations

• Provide walk-in services, urgent appointments, and follow-up care after discharge

• Support Medication Assisted Treatment and long acting injectable services

• Maintain timely and compliant electronic health record documentation

• Collaborate with medical, nursing, clinical, and quality improvement teams

• Participate in peer reviews, audits, and clinical quality initiatives

• Support innovative treatments such as TMS and Spravato

Required Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution

• Active Florida Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license

• National certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

• At least one year of PMHNP experience under physician supervision

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills

• Ability to pass required fingerprinting, background checks, and drug screening

• Ability to maintain required training and immunizations

Preferred Experience

• Community or integrated behavioral healthcare

• Medication Assisted Treatment

• Long acting injectables

• TMS or Spravato treatment

• Peer review or quality improvement
