St. Charles Health System is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join our Heart & Lung Specialists team in Bend, Oregon. First-line overnight support for CT Surgery patients and outpatient after-hours callsUrgent and emergent surgical assisting as neededPrimary location at St. Charles Bend Hospital and the Bend Heart & Lung CenterClinical ScopeThe CT Surgery APP will provide comprehensive preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative care and assist with a broad range of cardiac and thoracic procedures (1/3 thoracic and 2/3 cardiac.), including:Coronary artery bypass graftingAortic and valve surgeryAortic aneurysm repairLobectomy and wedge resectionDecortication and other thoracic proceduresInpatient consultations, rounding, discharge coordination, and follow-up careWhat We're Looking ForCurrent Oregon Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licenseCurrent NCCPA, AANP, ANCC, NCC, or AMCB certification as applicableCurrent ACLS certificationUnrestricted Oregon DEA registrationExperience in hospital and outpatient clinical settingsDemonstrated experience as a first assistant in the operating roomStrong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skillsWhy Bend?Live where others vacation.
