Pharmacist

Salary: USD58 - USD63 per hour A health services organization in Florida is actively seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join their team at one of their federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) in a retail-based clinical setting. About the Opportunity: Shift: Day shift Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 8am to 6pm (8am to 12pm on Fridays) Setting: Retail Pharmacy Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and maintain an organized, efficient workflow Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately while supporting adjudication and production processes Supervise pharmacy staff and help train new team members on proper procedures Provide patient counseling on prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, including drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, controlled substance procedures, HIPAA, quality standards, and 340B requirements Manage inventory, resolve third-party billing issues, and help maintain accurate records and documentation Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of recent Pharmacist experience in a Retail Pharmacy setting Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree Active Pharmacist license in the state of Florida BLS CPR certification, current and maintained Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Desired Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish) Experience with 340B Pharmacy programs FQHC experience Background with Retail Pharmacy brands, such as Publix, Walmart, CVS, or Walgreens #J-18808-Ljbffr Tandym-Group
