About the Role:
Join J & J 2000 INC as an Entry Level Staff Accountant in Westminster, MD, where you will play a crucial role in our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to start their career in accounting, offering hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and process invoices and payments.
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Prior experience in QuickBooks Online is a plus.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
