Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Night call Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 24-hour call coverage on weekends
• 1 FTE position with the possibility of multiple providers to fill the role
• EMR system: EPIC
• 12 to 15 procedures per locum per day
• 12 hospital-based patients per locum per day
• 15 patients per day
• Required procedures include EGD, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Capsule Deployment, and Esophageal Dilation
• Additional clinical responsibilities include performing GI procedures in the hospital campus GI Labs
• Board Certification required
• Illinois State License required at time of presentation
• DEA and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) required
