QA Assistant

Position Summary $18hr-$20hr


Shift Details: 3:30PM-12:00AM

Our commitment to safety is accomplished by adherence to FDA regulations, the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety Version 8, HACCP & food safety principles, preventive controls, and food defense measures.


Essential Responsibilities

• Performs verification activities for production, maintenance, shipping & receiving, sanitation, and quality per HACCP and BRC requirements.
• Trains on all food safety policies including HACCP and food defense.
• Completes daily records.
• Ensure product conformity with customer and regulatory standards.
• Reports any deviations to applicable management and enacts corrective actions.
• Ensure sanitary, safe, and good working condition of all equipment and facility areas.
• Participates in GMP inspections, Internal Audits, Mock Recalls, and management meetings or reviews.
• Ensures food safety and quality policies and procedures

Education and Work Experience


2+ year industry experience, food handling industry preferred.


Higher education completion, a plus.


Knowledge and Skills

• Good Manufacturing Practices.
• HACCP Certification recommended.
• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Able to identify deviations and enact corrective actions as needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and good organization
• Capable of working independently to a production schedule
