Auto Painter Helper

Overview Caliber Collision has an immediate job opening for an Auto Painter Helper. The role supports the Auto Painter to efficiently prepare vehicles for painting and maintain a productive workflow. Duties may include sanding, buffing, and maintenance of the paint booth and surrounding workspace. Auto Painter Helpers will assist in repairing vehicles thoroughly, safely, and in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards using state-of-the-art equipment. Responsibilities Assist Auto Painter to prepare vehicles for painting and ensure efficient workflow. Perform surface preparation duties such as sanding and buffing as required. Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of the paint booth and workspace. Assist in repairing vehicles in a thorough, safe, and compliant manner per Caliber and OEM standards. Qualifications Required: 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center. Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver’s license and eligibility for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy. Nice to Have Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification (not required). Abilities / Skills / Knowledge Ability to perform consistent physical activity including reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs. Ability to understand written and verbal instructions. Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage eligibility from day one.
