Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks
Setting: Hospital travel assignment

- Assignment in an acute care setting with Level IV trauma designation; 46 acute beds and 22 LTC beds
- Housing and vehicle provided for travelers

Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT exams of head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis with or without contrast
- Conduct CTA/vascular studies (e.g., pulmonary embolism evaluation, aorta) and brain perfusion studies; support trauma imaging
- Prepare and administer IV contrast; execute venipuncture with attention to patient safety
- Utilize 3D rendering, MPR, and PACS workflows; operate Philips CT and X-ray systems
- Float within scope to cover X-ray needs at nearby affiliate facilities as required
- Document and chart in Epic or related charting system; adhere to department protocols

Requirements
- ARRT CT certification and BLS certification
- Valid state license required; pending licenses not accepted
- Years of experience: 0+ acceptable; first-timers accepted
- Ability to work nights and to float within scope to cover X-ray with pediatric and adult patients
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the assignment site; no locals accepted
- Willingness to work some weekend shifts and night call coverage; on-call required (minimal)

- Housing provided: 1-bedroom apartment; available no earlier than 72 hours before contract start and up to 24 hours after contract end; pets not allowed; traveler responsible for cleaning
- Vehicle provided for traveler use; vehicle available within the same 72-hour window as housing; only traveler may operate; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required; vehicle use limited to ~30-mile radius; return clean with a full tank of gas
