Response Security Officer GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer in Virginia Beach, VA. The role requires adaptability across customer service, patrol, and surveillance tasks, shifting with each mission. Compensation & Benefits Site Location: Virginia Beach, VA Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 2nd shift (4:00 pm‑12:00 am) Hourly wage: $18.50 (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees) Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, paid holidays, disability and life insurance options Career growth opportunities Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities Monitor premises to ensure security Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity Control access points and verify identities Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security Write detailed reports on events and incidents Collaborate with authorities during serious situations Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Qualifications Authorized to work in the U.S. Active DCJS License 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Successful completion of extensive screening process Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations Responsive and strong problem‑solving skills Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus State license if required Why GardaWorld?
