This role is responsible for managing the collection, organization, and analysis of competitive and market data, translating insights into actionable, executive-ready intelligence that informs strategy, product development, and go-to-market decisions focused on hospitals and health systems to better enable partnerships across the Cigna Group./ppFunctions of the Job:/pulliLead CI research and analysis focused on health system, hospital, and provider-owned organization strategies, including pharmacy, specialty, site-of-care, and care delivery models./liliAnalyze health system market dynamics, competitive positioning, vertical integration strategies, and partnerships involving PBMs, specialty pharmacies, wholesalers, and life sciences companies./liliSupport internal stakeholders with targeted intelligence on health system needs, decision drivers, and purchasing behavior to inform product strategy and provider-facing offerings./liliPartner cross-functionally with Strategy, Product, Clinical, Sales, and Provider Solutions teams to align intelligence outputs with health system growth and engagement priorities./liliOwn end-to-end intelligence cycles including hypothesis development, research design, structured analysis, and delivery of executive-ready insights tailored to provider audiences./liliConduct dissemination, analysis, and ad hoc modeling of competitor and health system financial information, including benchmarking and assessment of strategic implications./liliLeverage AI and Copilot tools to accelerate provider-market research, automate synthesis, generate competitive profiles, and improve insight speed and accuracy./liliBuild repeatable frameworks, templates, and playbooks to scale health systemfocused intelligence across The Cigna Group./liliServe as a thought leader on provider market trends, competitive intelligence best practices, and AI-enabled research methodologies./li/ulpQualifications:/pulli5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, strategy, consulting, market insights, or a related field; healthcare experience required, with provider or health system exposure strongly preferred./liliBachelors degree highly preferred; Masters degree a plus./liliDemonstrated expertise using AI, Copilot, and advanced analytics tools to accelerate research, automate workflows, enhance synthesis, and scale intelligence outputs./liliExperience designing or operating AI-enabled research processes (e.g., prompt engineering, knowledge management, synthesis automation) preferred./liliStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous information into clear insights./liliFamiliarity with financial statements and provider economics./liliExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing executive-ready deliverables./liliAbility to influence and collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization./li/ulpIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
