Laboratory Specimen Shipping and Processing Coordinator

Pfizer seeks a Laboratory Specimen Shipping and Processing Coordinator to manage end-to-end processing, packaging, and shipping of clinical research samples to partner laboratories while ensuring full compliance with DOT/IATA regulations. The role involves inventory management, sample tracking, regulatory documentation, and collaboration with laboratory and study teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate sample packaging, labeling, and shipment in compliance with DOT/IATA regulations
Maintain inventory of supplies for sample shipping, processing, and storage
Enter and track laboratory results using PIMS, Cerner, and electronic notebooks
Investigate sample integrity issues and noncompliance problems with Laboratory Managers
Support audit preparation for CLIA, COLA, and CAP compliance

Requirements

Associate degree in science-related field
2+ years experience in pharmaceutical, hospital, or medical research
Knowledge of DOT/IATA specimen shipping regulations and biohazard requirements
Working knowledge of GxP, GCP, CAP, and CLIA/COLA regulations
Proficiency with laboratory data systems and Microsoft Word
Computer literacy and familiarity with electronic laboratory notebooks

Compensation: $26.86-$44.77 per hour
