DRCS Coordinator (Inspection Team)

The DRCS Coordinator (Inspection Team) is responsible for executing field inspection and audit activities under the Designated Route Check System (DRCS) Program, ensuring that all inspections, findings, and verification activities are carried out in accordance with FPG TW instructions, Corporate guidance, and established site procedures.

This role supports the successful implementation and ongoing execution of the DRCS program by performing designated route inspections, conducting independent audit verification activities, and ensuring that all abnormalities are properly identified, documented, and tracked within the Application Server system. The position plays a key role in transitioning the site to a continuous, full-cycle inspection and audit model, reinforcing procedural compliance and supporting performance objectives related to asset integrity, reliability, and zero-leak goals.

Major areas of accountability include:

  • Inspection Execution & Route Coverage: Perform routine and comprehensive inspections of pipelines, equipment, and associated systems in accordance with DRCS program requirements, inspection plans, and established procedures; Execute inspections along designated routes to ensure full coverage and support completion of annual inspection cycles; Verify that inspections are completed as scheduled and aligned with defined inspection plans; Identify abnormal conditions, deterioration, or deviations from company standards.
  • Anomaly Identification, Documentation & Case Management: Accurately identify and document all inspection findings within DRCS / Application Server systems; Ensure no hazardous pipeline or equipment abnormalities go unrecorded; Initiate, classify, and support management of cases, including A1/A2 leak classifications; Support tracking, follow-up, and verification of corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Audit Verification & Program Compliance: Perform quarterly audit verification activities in accordance with TW instruction, including: (a) Random inspection of designated areas to confirm inspections are completed per schedule (b) Verification that no visual abnormalities are missed or unrecorded (c) Confirmation that inspection findings and repairs are properly documented in the Application Server (d) Validation that no leaks (A1/A2) exist following completion of inspection cycles; Ensure all inspection and audit activities comply with FPG TW directives, Corporate guidance, and site procedures; Maintain consistency and standardization in inspection and audit execution across units
  • Coordination & Communication: Communicate inspection and audit findings to Operations and Maintenance personnel; Coordinate with responsible units to support timely resolution and closure of identified issues; Assist in verifying completion and effectiveness of corrective actions; Reinforce DRCS program expectations, responsibilities, and procedural compliance across operating units
  • Performance, Continuous Improvement & Safety: Maintain accurate records of inspection and audit activities and support reporting of key performance indicators (e.g., inspection completion, anomaly detection rates, leak prevention performance); Provide feedback to improve inspection plans, audit processes, and overall DRCS program effectiveness; Support site initiatives related to asset integrity, reliability, and zero-leak performance objectives; Conduct all activities in accordance with site safety policies and identify/report unsafe conditions
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Utilize internal and external resources to foster teamwork, develop workable solutions, and optimize/positively impact departmental and company goals and results, in-line with achieving regulatory compliance
  • Environmental Stewardship: Execute assigned responsibilities, activities, and tasks in a manner protective of the environment so as to prevent/minimize environmental releases/ emissions/issues, in-line with corporate and site goals/objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Adherence: Implement/educate/train and adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, Human Resources, ISO, Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety, regulatory and other company requirements. All other duties as assigned.
  • Other: Follow all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, Human Resources, ISO, Quality, Environmental, Health, Safety, regulatory and other company requirements.
  • THM: Promote cleanliness and order through the implementation of the Total House Keeping Maintenance program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program. Maintain the plant in like new condition.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Related Experience Required Dependent upon education, 6 - 10 years of Inspection and/or Auditing experience depending on education, required.
  • Technical Skills Required To Perform This Job Strong working knowledge with FPC TX DRCS program and its applications. Familiar with API standards is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and verbally Strong analytical skills. Excellent computer skills. A willingness and drive to continue to learn and to improve yourself
  • Education High School diploma or equivalent required with ten (10) years of Field Inspection and/or Auditing experience required; or Bachelors of Science or Engineering Degree with a minimum of six (6) years of Field Inspection and/or Auditing experience – preferred; or Associates Degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of Field Inspection and/or Auditing experience.
  • Other Certification/Training Required To Gain Function-Related Technical Knowledge Will require training in Company Policies and Procedures after hire. Current employees must meet all technical and safety training requirements for current position, as specified in the Master Training Plan. Complete the following practical training: DR CS training program FPC TX VT testing
