Location: California, MD 20619
Position: School Social Worker
Schedule: Full-Time | 35 Hours/Week
Setting: On-Site | School-Based
A school district near California, MD is looking for a qualified School Social Worker for the 2026–2027 school year. This role will provide support across two schools, with placement determined based on the candidate’s preferred age group and location within the district.
Position Details:
August 13, 2026 – June 10, 2027
35 hours per week
Full-time schedule
On-site school-based position
Support across 2 schools
District placement based on age and location preference
Provide social-emotional support and student services
Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
Assist with student needs and intervention planning
Support positive student outcomes throughout the school year
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Social Work required
Appropriate Maryland social work licensure required
MSDE School Social Worker educator certification preferred
Must be willing and eligible to obtain the school certification upon offer if not currently certified
School-based social work experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Compensation:
LCSW: $92/hour
