We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our Data Center Sector - East Coast to ensure customers receive the power, heating, and cooling they need.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness development and lead generation within the Data Center sectorCold calling, account management, presentation development, and closing dealsTracking all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and ordersSelling equipment rental and services to Data Center customersDeveloping and executing an annual territory sales planCollaborating with operations and logistics teams for project executionUnderstanding power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressorsRequired Skills and Experience7-10 years of direct B2B sales experienceAdvanced knowledge of the targeted territoryAdvanced knowledge of the Data Center industryProficiency with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce)Experience partnering with Ops, Fleet, and Logistics teamsBachelors degree or relevant experience Must-HavesFull sales cycle experiencePrevious experience as a B2B Sales ProfessionalKnowledge of construction and data center buildsOutstanding communication and presentation skillsExtensive experience developing new accounts, solution sales in a structured corporate settingNice-To-HavesExperience in Building and Construction ServicesKnowledge of Power and Rental GenerationLarge quota of booked businessSolutions selling approach rather than transactional sales
