Regional Safety Manager

Regional Safety Manager Location: San Marcos, TX. McKee Utility Contractors is a family‑founded company with over 40 years of experience in water and wastewater line installation, tunneling, boring, and concrete structure construction. The organization is committed to safety, on‑time delivery, and strategic planning while strengthening communities through critical infrastructure. Responsibilities Assist the Corporate Safety Director in managing the existing safety program. Perform daily inspections of projects in the assigned division to ensure employees follow company safety policies and CFR 1926 standards. Assist Division Managers and Operations Managers with safety matters, such as developing site‑specific safety plans, emergency action plans, and documentation. Prepare and submit a weekly safety report to the Corporate Safety Director and Division Manager outlining safety‑related issues and non‑compliance matters. Document all incidents and injuries and take appropriate action under the direction of the corporate case management system. Assist in training, orientation, and coaching of employees. Qualifications Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) OSHA Outreach Trainer (OSHA 500) Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction safety. Experience/education in excavation/trenches, shoring, confined space, fall protection, rigging, traffic control, and site safety plans.
