What You’ll Do Day‑To‑Day Ensures effective performance on moderately complex to complex engineering assignments. Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering activities within assigned cost center(s). Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards. Develops and/or administers organization engineering standards and procedures for the group. Provides goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members. Ensures development and training of team members to optimize task results. Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships. Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements. Works on special projects, as directed. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted. Minimum of 10 years of related experience. Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria. Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, management and customers as required. Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates. Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills. Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills. Experience with NSSS repairs and replacement. Knowledgeable of primary component fabrication. Familiarity with ASME code. Total Rewards Package Salary: $133,000 - $181,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
