As an X-Ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures. Your expertise will ensure accurate imaging and patient safety, while your compassionate approach will enhance patient education and comfort.

• Perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm, and fluoroscopic procedures
• Review patients' clinical history and ensure appropriate orders are placed
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort during procedures
• Select and operate imaging equipment and accessories effectively
• Initiate basic life support when necessary
• Determine radiographic technique and exposure factors
• Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure
• Report and document XR safety incidents/adverse events
• Process images and ensure proper identification and quality control
• Utilize radiology information systems, including PACS
• Assist with medical record/image sharing as necessary
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Radiography registration required
• WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin
• Approved AHA Provider level BLS certification
• Need 1 year experience in setting
