Radiology Technologist – Full-Time Nights We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join the Lubbock Heart team. The role involves providing high quality imaging services and supporting patient care within the radiology department. Responsibilities Report to the work station on time and remain at station until relieved. Position patients and adjust equipment for x‑ray procedures following established protocols. Instruct patients regarding procedures and maintain confidentiality standards. Operate radiologic equipment following prescribed safety standards. Select radiation exposure parameters and maintain accurate records. Maintain examination rooms and stock necessary supplies. Work as a team member within the radiology department and other departments. Participate in standby for assigned modalities and report promptly to the hospital when paged; travel time to study should be within 25 minutes. Complete all necessary forms for each study and coordinate with requesting physicians. Check patient identification on arm bands and verify orders prior to exams. Follow Lubbock Heart Hospital policies for time and attendance. Participate in quality improvement and quality control projects. Maintain licensure and/or certification(s) for all assigned modalities. Maintain supplies, order and gather supplies, and assist in inventories. Report mechanical or system problems to the Director or designee. Demonstrate initiative in work habits with a professional demeanor. Support budgetary goals and report incidents within 24 hours. Handle patient complaints according to hospital policy. Assist in developing new CPT codes, charge masters, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Minimum one year experience in an acute care facility. Preferably cross‑trained in CT. Minimum ARRT registration in Radiography and/or Texas Department of Health Radiologic Technologist certification. Maintain current BLS certification. Demonstrated competency with assigned equipment.
