Onboarding Coordinator

What Will You Do? As an Onboarding Coordinator at UnifyCX, you will be responsible for ensuring that new employees have a smooth transition into the company and are equipped with the necessary tools and information to excel in their roles. You will play a critical role in facilitating the onboarding process, fostering a welcoming environment, and promoting a positive employee experience from day one. You will interact with all levels of the organization to provide an exceptional level of customer service throughout the onboarding process and ensure a positive and impressive new hire experience. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires. Prepare and distribute communications to employees once they’ve accepted an offer on what their onboarding experience will look like. Examine supporting I-9 documentation for validity and accuracy. Administer pre-employment drug screening. Support a team of recruiters and HR team members. Ensure compliance with all established processes and procedures. Always maintain strict confidentiality. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the onboarding process, including employment eligibility verification and documentation. Collaborate with HR team members, department managers, and other stakeholders to streamline and enhance the onboarding process. Customer Service Week activities. Maintain accurate records of onboarding activities, including completion of required paperwork and training sessions, using HRIS or other relevant systems. Support initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement and retention, such as organizing team‑building activities and recognition programs. Help promote UnifyCX as a great place to work through face‑to‑face interactions with employees during their new hire appointments. Assume other duties and special projects as assigned. Who You Are To be considered, candidates are expected to have the following: Experience in an administrative/support role. Onboarding coordination experience is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Results‑oriented; high‑energy; outgoing personality; positive attitude; excellent verbal and written communication skills; organizational and problem‑solving skills; and the ability to work independently. Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to new employees. Education High School Diploma or equivalent educational experience is required. Location and Working Hours Location: This is an onsite position in our contact center at the Project Cowork Building, 11103 West Ave, San Antonio 78213.
