Job Title: Phlebotomist - TEQ Job Description

The role involves the collection and receipt of biological specimens, ensuring their proper entry into the computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing them to the correct analytical areas. Responsibilities cover both pre and post aspects of analytical testing, including performing specified analytical tests as assigned. Adherence to the Code of Conduct is required.

• Collect and receive biological specimens.
• Ensure accurate entry of specimens into the computer system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing.
• Distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical areas.
• Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
• Follow the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.

• Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques.
• Experience with specimen collection and processing.
• Ability to work with geriatrics and perform drawing blood procedures.

• At least 1-2 years of experience working with patients who are difficult draws.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Must be a team player.
• Should reside within 15 to 16 miles of the work location.

The work is conducted in a Patient Service Center, operating Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The organization offers significant growth opportunities, including a career ladder to advance to Phleb Tech 2 with a 4% pay increase after six months. The company encourages internal promotions for leadership roles.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
