Traveling Physical Therapist Role

Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Columbus, IN within an outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. Evaluates patients, develops and implements treatment plans, and directs discipline-specific therapy services. Participates in student instruction and pursues professional development. Upholds professional standards, patient confidentiality, and organizational safety expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Indiana physical therapy license required prior to the start of assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• No new graduates. Clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
• Competence in comprehensive patient evaluation, goal writing, treatment planning, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Ability to complete timely, accurate medical record documentation including functional quality indicators and letters of medical necessity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising or precepting students and providing a structured learning environment.
• Experience with safe patient handling practices and materials handling protocols.
• Demonstrated engagement in continuing education and professional development activities.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8.
