Work Environment\nThis is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients through virtual platforms. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and recovery coaches, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. Though the work is performed remotely, you will regularly engage in group meetings and team collaborations to discuss client progress and strategies.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for clients in detox, taking into account their personal histories, presenting challenges, and various risk factors. \n
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing their specific mental health needs and supporting their recovery journey. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing that cater to individuals dealing with substance use and mental health issues. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to promote emotional regulation and equip clients with effective coping strategies. \n
- Implement crisis intervention techniques during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive the appropriate support and referrals to higher levels of care when necessary. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available within the community to enhance understanding and support. \n
- Maintain thorough and accurate client documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate actively in ongoing training sessions, peer supervision, and team meetings to continue growing professionally and contribute to team effectiveness. \n
Your primary focus will be on clients undergoing detoxification and grappling with complex mental health conditions often intertwined with substance use disorders. Your expertise will help guide these individuals through the challenging detox process, empowering them to achieve emotional and psychological well-being.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and valid LCSW license within the state of California. \n
- At least two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in mental health or substance use treatment settings. \n
- A solid understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatments, especially those related to addiction, and trauma-informed care principles. \n
- Demonstrated skill in conducting mental health assessments and creating actionable treatment plans. \n
- Experience facilitating individual and group therapy, with a focus on substance use and mental health integration. \n
- Strong crisis intervention proficiency and resilience under pressure in emergency situations. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to build and maintain trust with diverse clients. \n
- Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer usage. \n

- Previous experience working in a detox or rehabilitation facility. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote treatment methodologies. \n

The compensation range for this role is between $80,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on your qualifications and experience.
