Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide exemplary therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in the development and restoration of functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Accurately and timely document patient progress.
Assist with patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe and effective environment.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Possess an active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or the ability to obtain one.
Strong teamwork and patient care skills are essential for this role.
