In this full-time role, the PT will be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and devising tailored treatment plans to support patients with diverse physical challenges. Located in the heart of Modesto, our outpatient office is designed to be welcoming and accessible to our patients. The PT will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Daily responsibilities will involve direct patient interaction, collaborative meetings with fellow health professionals, and engagement in continuing education initiatives that are pivotal to both personal and professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough patient evaluations to identify physical impairments and functional limitations.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and appropriate modalities.Monitor and document patient progress accurately in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to ensure continuity of care.Adjust treatment approaches as necessary based on patient response and progress.Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and drive improvement initiatives within the clinic.Maintain compliance with all California Physical Therapy licensing regulations and documentation standards.Patient Population / Client FocusThe ideal candidate will engage with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, those with chronic pain conditions, and athletes seeking enhanced performance. Our focus is on delivering evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient, thus fostering recovery and promoting long-term health and wellness.QualificationsA valid California Physical Therapist License or eligibility for licensure.At least a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program (a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree is preferred).Certification in CPR and BLS.Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trust with patients and coordinating care.Proficiency with EMR systems to ensure effective patient documentation and care management.Preferred ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of clinical experience, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.Experience in outpatient settings, particularly with orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Mandarin, or Tagalog are considered a strong plus but are not required.Compensation and BenefitsGulf Side Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, with additional performance-based bonuses.
