ICU RN Opportunity at Methodist Hospital

Methodist Hospital, located in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an experienced RN for the SICU (653) unit. This position requires a minimum of two years of ICU experience and strong critical thinking skills. Preferred skills include MICU & MSICU background, IABP exposure, CRRT exposure, and Meditech experience. Active TX RN License is required.

Shift Details: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A, Rotating Weekends, No Call, Guaranteed Hours: 36

Special Skills/Experience Required:

• Two years or more ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification

Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed:

• MICU & MSICU background
• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
• Meditech experience

Procedures performed on unit: Chest tubes, tracks, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, art lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, dressing changes

Dress Code: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket. Clean and healthy nail policy. Neat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colors. Clean and neatly trimmed beards, mustaches, and sideburns. Covered body art or individually addressed if not feasible to cover. Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited.

Unit Guidelines/Policies: Floating required, badging in and out for shift is required along with taking a full 30-minute lunch.
