Prep Team MemberThe Prep Team Member is responsible for preparing high-quality food ingredients and products in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. This role ensures that the kitchen is fully stocked and ready to support food production throughout the day.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow Chick-fil-A recipes and procedures to prepare ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, salads, and sauces.Maintain stock levels of prep items by accurately labeling and dating food.Monitor freshness and discard expired items following food safety standards.Clean and sanitize prep stations, equipment, and tools throughout the shift.Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., ServSafe guidelines).Accurately rotate inventory (FIFO) and alert leaders to low or missing items.Work collaboratively with kitchen and leadership teams to meet daily goals.Uphold Chick-fil-A's standards of excellence and core values in all tasks.QualificationsMust be 16 years or older.Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.Willingness to learn and follow Chick-fil-A standards.Previous kitchen or prep experience is a plus but not required.Physical RequirementsAble to stand for extended periods (6+ hours).Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.Comfortable working in cold prep and warm kitchen environments.Schedule & AvailabilityFlexible availability including mornings, weekends, and holidays.Prep shifts typically start early as early as 6:00 am.Most Chick-fil-A® Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.Work ScheduleWeekend availability8 hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftBenefitsFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insurance401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discount
