SQL DBAWorks collaboratively as a senior member of the Business Intelligence & Reporting team. Supports, develops, and maintains SQL database environments and related technology. Acts as a team member on multi-team projects and uses advanced skill sets to develop, test, troubleshoot, and support database-related projects and associated solutions/applications. Acts as a mentor to others learning essential and advanced SQL-related skills.Requirements include:Bachelor's degree in a technical area or equivalent work experience6 years experience in SQL database administrationFlexibility and the ability to adapt to change.Proven communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, technical, and writing skills.MS SQL Server AdministrationMS SQL Transact SQL Programming (T-SQL)MS SQL Data Transformation Services (DTS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) programming.Performance Tuning of Hardware & MS SQL Server.MS SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Demonstrates an advanced understanding of the following:Database modeling/normalizationIndexing strategies and maintenanceBackup and recovery modelsClustering and high availabilityPreferences include:MCDBAMCTSMCITPVendor Certified SQL AdministratorOther database-related certification/sSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Database administration: 6 years (Preferred)Microsoft SQL Server: 6 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Texas Driver's license (Preferred)Work Location: In person
