You’ll sit on the New York options desk, ship production C#, and see your software used in live trading – every day. No layers, no waiting, no “maybe next quarter”.

These are real front-line engineering seats: you own live systems, you work directly with traders, and you feel the impact of your code when markets move.

One role is trader tools. One is market-data feeds. Both are core to how this options business operates.

What You'll Work On

Two openings – you’ll focus on one of these domains:

• Trader-facing tools and platforms for the listed options desk
• Short-cycle tactical applications directly driven by market needs
• Real-time options market-data ingest and normalization
• High-volume feed distribution and monitoring
• Keeping mission-critical data paths correct under volume spikes
• Adapting systems as venues, formats, and markets change
• Production C# systems at the core of a global proprietary trading firm

You’ll work primarily in C#, with Python and JavaScript also in the mix depending on the seat.

This is about building and owning live trading infrastructure, not abstract platforms with no desk contact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Write and ship production C# used directly in live options trading
• Own live systems end-to-end, not just greenfield feature work
• Work on-site with traders and engineers on the New York options desk
• Turn trader problems into working software on tight feedback loops
• For the Tools seat: build tactical tools and platforms in response to market needs
• For the Tools seat: use Python and JavaScript where they fit for trader-facing apps
• For the Feeds seat: build and operate options market-data feed systems
• For the Feeds seat: ingest, normalize, and distribute high-volume data across the stack
• Monitor and maintain data-path correctness when volumes spike or venues change
• Collaborate closely with a trading business that depends on your systems
• Balance speed of delivery with reliability in a production trading environment
• Contribute to a culture of ownership around live trading infrastructure

What We're Looking For

• Strong, proven experience writing production C#
• 5–10+ years of experience preferred for the Tools seat; 3–5 considered
• 5+ years of experience for the Feeds seat
• Hands-on ownership of live, production systems
• Comfort working directly with traders in an on-site desk environment
• Interest in listed options or trading workflows (deep options knowledge is a plus, not a must)
• For the Tools seat: exposure to Python and JavaScript is a plus
• For the Feeds seat: background in real-time or high-volume data is a plus
• Experience with parsers, messaging, feed operations, or options market data is a plus

The Experience That Will Really Get Our Attention

You’ve been the engineer traders or front-office users call when something breaks – and the one they trust to ship something new on a tight deadline. You’re fluent in production C#, comfortable with on-desk pressure, and you like seeing the business impact of your code in real time.

Maybe you’ve built trader tools with short delivery cycles, wiring up Python or JavaScript where needed. Or you’ve lived in the data plane: high-volume feeds, parsers, messaging, and real-time monitoring where correctness under load is everything.
