Your role in the success of our company will be to have the work experience in the following areas:

• Proficient in Medical Billing - Specific to: Durable Medical Equipment, Orthotics & Prosthetics, and Compression garments.
• Review claims and request information needed prior to billing
• Medical Billing software knowledge and ability to learn OPIE O&P billing software
• Medical Billing Accounts Receivable
• Medical payment posting
• Appeals and denials
• Create spreadsheets to track and escalate insurance denial patterns
• Support Clinical and Administrative team as necessary
• Takes patient payments and phone calls as necessary
• Request patient refunds as necessary
• Special projects as needed
