We are seeking warm, experienced and dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurses to deliver one-to-one quality, patient-centered nursing care to medically fragile children with complex health care needs at school. Immediate cases available in Bedford NY, Lagrangeville NY.  Easy onboarding process.

Position Details

Location: Bedford NY, Lagrangeville, NY

Employment Type: Full-Time/Per-diem opportunities available

Schedule: School schedule

Rate: $50.00 - $55

School-day hours (typically 7AM – 3 PM) – no nights or weekends

Consistent daily schedule with the same student

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one nursing care for a medically fragile student while at school

Monitor and manage conditions such as:

• Seizure care
• Diabetes management
• G-tube feeding, suctioning, oxygen administration, ventilator support
• Pulse oximetry and medication administration

Accompany the student on the school bus

Communicate with school staff, families, and medical teams

Maintain documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved RN program

Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience in acute care.  Home care or school nursing experience preferred. 

Current CPR Certification

Valid NYS RN License

CPR
