The Concrete Worker plays a vital role in the construction process by preparing, mixing, and pouring concrete to create solid structures. Working under a Foreman or Supervisor, this position involves collaboration within small to medium-sized crews and requires both indoor and outdoor work environments. The role demands physical stamina, attention to safety, and quality finishing to ensure durable and precise concrete surfaces. The work schedule typically follows standard weekday hours, with occasional weekend or overtime shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mix concrete according to specifications
• Set up formwork to shape concrete structures
• Pour concrete accurately and efficiently
• Finish concrete surfaces to meet quality standards
• Prepare work sites and ensure proper conditions
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
• Follow safety protocols and compliance requirements
• Inspect surfaces for quality and consistency
• Perform cleanup of work areas after completion

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of concrete work experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Concrete finishing and formwork installation skills
• Knowledge of mixing and pouring concrete
