Key Responsibilities

• Lead customs trade programs including CTPAT, AEO, Dangerous Goods, and sustainability.
• Secure certifications such as CTPAT and AEO across global sites.
• Serve as liaison with CBP and regulatory bodies, managing audits and escalations.
• Scale Dangerous Goods program and embed requirements into workflows.
• Deploy AI tools for document classification, shipment screening, and audit preparation.
• Integrate sustainability requirements into supply chain operations.
• Institute governance models and participate in industry associations.
• Conduct risk assessments and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and adapt programs accordingly.
• Develop Internal Control Program to ensure systemic adherence.
• Maintain audit readiness for inquiries and renewals.
• Define strategic roadmap balancing near-term deliverables with scalability.
• Champion AI adoption with guardrails and governance standards.
• Partner with IT to build AI/ML dashboards for risk prediction and decision-making.
• Analyze performance data and drive continuous improvement.
• Expand program portfolio into adjacent customs domains.
• Deliver training for employees, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Champion awareness across the organization.
• Develop playbooks and e-learning content.
• Coordinate with partners to ensure adherence across the supply chain.
• Represent organization in industry and regulatory forums.
• Maintain records of audits, certifications, and training.
• Prepare regulatory filings and reports.
• Provide executive reporting on program status, risks, and KPIs.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Master's Degree
• Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (DGR)
• PMP
• CUSECO
• Sustainability Credentials
• Certified Licensed Customs Broker
