Physical Therapy Assistant
They will be working in home health, greater Sacramento county area. They will be seeing 5-6 patients per day, 40 hours per week. A new grad for this position (less than 6 months of experience) would be accepted in extreme cases only. They would be treating a variety of diagnoses, including cardio, pulmonary, orthopedic, neurological and geriatric. The productivity goal is the same five or six patients per day. Mileage is billable per GSA guidelines. Personal timesheets showing mileage must be signed by home health supervisors. There are meetings twice a month to have hard copies signed (if they do not see supervisors on a regular basis). They may also send photocopies of timesheets with mileage listed to the supervisors via email for approval. Timesheets need to be sent to *** in order to bill. Accrued mileage begins after the clinician departs from their first assignment. Travel between the clinician's housing and the first HH visit does not qualify for reimbursement.
