Job Title: Nurse Mgr II Profession: Client Child Health (MCH) Specialty: Post Partum (PP) - Critical Need Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 12hrs Hours per Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring. Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws. Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium, Oxytocin, Insulin). Demonstrated ability to perform urine point of care testing. Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing. Demonstrated knowledge of IStat. Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring. Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborns. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of bili-blankets/lights. Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers. Demonstrated knowledge to support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training. Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching. Description: Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Bachelors degree in nursing or related field is preferred. Minimum of three years of labor and delivery experience is preferred. Minimum of three years of postpartum experience is preferred. Minimum of one year of medical/surgical nursing experience is preferred. Enable skills-based hiring is applicable.
